Pranayama Into Practice
Sunday 18th August 2024
Time: 2 - 5pm
Cost: £30
Hosted by: Barbara Dancer
Pranayama can be a profound and internalising practice but it is not always easy and accessible. It can be challenging or it can simply feel too slow to use a more subtle, introspective practice rather than energetic asana. For some, it causes feelings of fear or panic.
In this workshop, Barbara will cover ways to engage with pranayama through asana practice; introducing breath awareness in a tangible way. This includes including breath and pranayama through movement - both large and subtle movement, connecting with breath to create stillness in asana and through sound and movement.
Building access to pranayama as an enjoyable and supportive part of asana practice provides a more comfortable route into internal states of practice.
This workshop will include practice using pranayama, asana and sound.
You'll receive notes and practices from the workshop for practice and reference.
